HOTLINES

The image of the phone has been in production since 1996.  These small paintings are 5” x 7” and serve to represent communication. When I started painting the Hotline, I designated them to be “site specific” asking that they be hung by the phone or phone jack in the home or office.  As time moved forward in the realm of technology and communication, landlines are a thing of the past. These hotlines have been acquired from admirers all over the world. With over 1,000 painted and sold, these paintings delight the observer of history and remind us that communication with one another is valuable to the future.
