LINES

“Lines” is a series of work exploring the themes of color.  One line at a time, I use tape to create a clean straight edge separating one color from the next.  I paint on re-cycled wood or large canvases. I think about color combinations and how color relates to one another. The compositions are experiments in manipulating color against straight and firm edges.  Each time I release a color from the taped application, I am surprised with the result. Addicting and pleasurable, creating these paintings encompass simplicity and joy.
